While researching something personal, I came across an amazing website for kids. At first, the site looked basic, but as I explored it further, I was surprised to find piles and piles of interesting content. Yes, www.hellokids.com surprised me with its unique and amazing material for kids.

Hellokids is a dream of every child, as it offers a variety of content according to the individual’s interest. The site doesn’t require registration nor does it have ads. You will find the main menu with small icons on the top centre of the homepage with sections that include, ‘Colouring pages’, ‘Drawing for kids’, ‘Crafts and activities’, ‘Free online games’, ‘Reading and learning’ and ‘Movie and tutorial’. While the titles are self-explanatory, you will find abundant treasure in each section.

I was taken aback when I clicked the “Reading and learning” section. There was tonnes of information in the category. You can read stories, do fun activities, read short biographies of famous people, read stories, jokes, riddles, and a lot more interesting content.

Similarly, the section ‘Movie and tutorials’ is superb for all those kids who love to make short videos and also want to know about new tips and techniques in making a video.

One of the most interesting things to me was the ‘Paper story’. Paper story is a series of stop-motion short videos for kids made by the site itself, using colouring pages you can find on the site. In each video, you will discover and make believe the cute characters in action and learn how to give free rein to your imagination and creativity.

The site is not just about learning drawings and reading stories, as you scroll down the page, you will see even more things like making crafts, reading material on popular music artists, learning musical instruments and doing easy science experiments.

Still, the site doesn’t end here, you can check magic tricks, movie reviews, your favourite cartoon, artist, singer, actor etc. So, in a nutshell, the site is full of ‘fun’ and children can have it whenever they want.
