Marvel multiverse tabletop role-playing game

The Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: Playtest Rulebook will hit stores in spring 2022. Matt Forbeck (author and game designer) wrote the rulebook and co-designed the game, which will utilise “the all-new D616 System.” Marvel also calls it an “easy-to-learn system for newcomers to table-top RPGs and a natural evolution for those familiar with the most popular table-top role-playing games on the market.”

Under the D616 system, players can assume the role of Marvel mainstays like Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, and more. Additionally, players will have the option to create their own heroes for the game.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot in 2023

News has been circulating on the web about the famous turtles’ next theatrical adventure, to premiere on August 11, 2023.

Seth Rogen (writer and producer) confirmed the news on his Twitter account. His post also includes a photo of what looks like a page from a young Leonardo’s notebook, complete with notes about mutations, references to other characters in the turtles’ orbit, and even a few doodles.

Previously, Rogen explained that the new movie would put special emphasis on the characters’ teenage personalities. The reboot will mark the first Ninja Turtles film to hit the big screen since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows premiered in 2016. The movie will also utilise CG animation similar to 2007’s TMNT.
