LAHORE: A teenaged boy was killed in a cylinder blast in Wahdat Colony on Sunday.

Reports said a gas cylinder exploded in a shop near Pilot Secondary School Wahdat Colony. As a result teenager Abdullah suffered critical injuries and died on the spot while the fire erupted due to the blast engulfed the shop.

Rescue 1122 controlled the fire and shifted the body to Mayo Hospital.

In another incident, a young man drowned in BRB canal near Bedian Road on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122, they received a call that a man in his 20’s was bathing in the canal and went missing.

The rescue teams reached the spot and recovered the body after efforts of an hour or two.

Later, the victim was identified as Zeeshan, 20, whose body was handed over to police.
