CHARSADDA: A man shot dead his wife and critically injured her sister outside the Judicial Complex Charsadda here on Monday over some domestic feud.

The injured woman, a resident of Par Hoti Mardan, who is presently living in Spin Jamaat town of Peshawar, told the Charsadda police station officials that she and her sister, wife of Salman, were coming out of the judicial complex after appearing in the family court when Salman opened fire on them. As a result, she said, her sister died on the spot while she suffered critical injuries.

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the deceased and the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital, Charsadda.

The guards stationed at the judicial complex arrested the accused and handed him over to the city police.

The incident created fear and panic among the people. On June 24, three people were shot dead by rivals in the judicial complex.

The deceased had come to appear in court for confirmation of their bail-before-arrest in a murder case.

The people blamed the lax security at the complex on the incidents of killings.
