KARACHI: Noorul Ain of Anjuman-e-Islamia Girls Primary School emerged victorious in girls singles final while Apwa Boys primary school’s Ayan won the boys title in the sixth IC Pakistan Inter-School Tennis Championship here at Al Zehra Government Girls Primary School Firdous Colony recently.

Ayan won the boys single final after beating Javed of Jacob Line Primary School 11-Noorul Ain outplayed Marium of the same school 10-0.

The tournament, sponsored by International Lawn Tennis Club of Pakistan featured 12 primary schools of the city.

Abida Lodhi, Director School Education Primary Karachi Region, was the chief guest who gave away the trophies to winners and runners-up.

Afsheen Zehra, principal of Al-Zehra Govt Girls Primary School, and event coordinator Fariha Riaz were also present on the occasion.
