Zubaida lauds PN’s welfare work in coastal areas

GWADAR: Federal Min­is­ter for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal appreciated Pakistan Navy’s endeavours in socio-economic uplift of the coastal areas of Balochistan in the fields of health and education.

Ms Jalal was speaking at the annual prize distribution ceremony of the Pakistan Navy Cadet College Ormara (PNCCO) recently.

Commander Coast Vice Admiral Zahid Ilyas received Ms Jalal, who gave away prizes and certificates to distinguished cadets, faculty members and the winner house.

Ms Jalal, who was chief guest on the occasion, appreciated the PN efforts in imparting quality education and applauded the institution.

The federal minister underscored the PN’s efforts in the socio-economic uplift of Balochistan’s coastal areas in the fields of health and education.

The minister advised the cadets to excel in their fields for their success.

Later, Ms Jalal visited Pakistan Navy hospital, PNS Darmaan Jah, where local people are provided free medical facilities. She also visited Bahria Model College, Ormara.
