KASUR: The Khudian police on Tuesday arrested a man who allegedly chopped off the nose of a teenage girl when she resisted rape attempt at Dhing Shah village.

The complainant said he and his wife had gone to attend a wedding ceremony on Sunday when a man, along with three accomplices, forcibly entered his house and tried to rape his daughter. As the girl resisted, he said, the suspect chopped off her nose. The injured girl was hospitalised.

Police arrested the prime suspect and launched an investigation after registering a case under sections 376, 511, 337, 509 and 364 of PPC.

In another case, the Phoolnagar police registered a case against a man for allegedly raping a woman. The complainant said the man raped her and made a video of the incident to blackmail her.
