Jungle Cruise, a peek into the new flick

Disney is giving a glimpse of the new film Jungle Cruise. The studio shared a trailer for the fantasy adventure film featuring Dwayne Johnson as steamboat captain Frank Wolff.

The trailer shows Skipper Frank (Johnson) take Dr Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) and her brother McGregor (Jack Whitehall) on a quest to find the Tree of Life. Édgar Ramírez, Jesse Plemons and Paul Giamatti co-star. Jungle Cruise is inspired by Disney’s theme park attraction of the same name. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on July 30.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD update

Nintendo released a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, highlighting all the improvements this new update will bring to the Nintendo Switch.

Fans of the game will be glad to know some of their main complaints about Skyward Sword were fixed in the HD remake. Fi, the guiding spirit, constantly talked to Link in the original game, revealing the solution to puzzles just a few moments after a player got stuck. No more constant interruption! Fin will only react to the player’s command, which means you’ll be able to complete the game by yourself this time.

The trailer also displays the improved frame-rate of Skyward Sword HD. The new control scheme allows for optional motion movements with the stick from the right Joy-Con, so Nintendo Switch Lite owners can enjoy the remake without buying a new console. It will be available on the Nintendo Switch on July 16.

Spider-Man: No Way Home action figures revealed

Marvel and Sony have been pretty tight-lipped regarding plot or details from the next Spider-Man film. Thanks to Alfred Molina, we know that his version of Doc Ock will return. Now that some Marvel Legends Spider-Man: No Way Home action figures have showcased some images, we know a little more. Two characters we knew would return — Doctor Strange and J. Jonah Jameson.

And Spider-Man himself? Well, he gets two new costumes.

One of the outfits looks to be a black and gold redeco of the last movie suit. The second seems a more streamlined version of the Iron Spider armour, which, after all, he left at home in the last film. If Sony’s ready to showcase merchandise, we ought to see a full trailer relatively soon.
