KARACHI: Arif Habib Ltd (AHL) posted a record profit-after-tax (PAT) of Rs2.10bn for the year ended June 30, 2021 translating into earnings per share (EPS) at Rs35.43. It represented staggering growth from PAT at Rs73.2m and EPS at Rs1.22 earned in the previous year.

The board declared a final cash dividend for the year ended June 30, 2021 at Rs10 per share along with bonus shares at 10pc (10 shares for every 100 shares held).

Exide returns to profitability

Exide Pakistan Ltd announced PAT at Rs24.9 million and EPS at Rs3.21 for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021. It represented a turnaround from loss of Rs228m and loss per share at Rs29.36 suffered in the same time last year.

Panther Tyres income surges 238pc

Panther Tyres Ltd posted PAT at Rs851m and EPS at Rs7.06 for the year ended June 30, 2021, showing an increase of 238pc from PAT at Rs252m and EPS at Rs2.52 for the previous year.

Searle, Reckitt join hands

The Searle Company Ltd informed the PSX that it had entered into an agreement with Reckitt Benckiser Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd “to manufacture certain products on their behalf”.
