BAHAWALPUR: Former federal minister Syed Tasneam Nawaz Gardezi, who died of protracted illness in Murree on Tuesday night, was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard here on Wednesday.

Earlier, his funeral prayers were offered at local Eidgah.

POLICE: RPO Zubair Dreshek, DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran and Deputy Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathiya laid floral wreaths at the police Shuhada monument at the district police lines and visited police martyrs’ residences.
