LAHORE: Sixteen players will be participating in the 13th Seagold U-21 Junior National Snooker Championship being held from Friday to Tuesday.

Four players each from Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and two each from Balochistan and Islamabad are featuring in the event.

The contestants are divided into four groups. Two players from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals to be held on Aug 8. The semi-finals will be staged on Aug 9 and final on Aug 10.

All league matches will be best-of-five frames competitions, quarter-finals best of seven, semi-finals best of nine frames while the final of the event will best-of-11 frames affair.

‘A’: Zubair Tahir (Punjab), Jahanzaib Jahangir (Balochistan), Mohammad Asad Khan (Sindh), Munsifudin Alaudin (KP)

‘B’: Umer Ismail (Sindh), Usman Waheed (Islamabad), Sajjad Abdullah (KP), Mohammad Shahzad (Punjab)

‘C’: Mohammad Rafiq (KP), Zohaib Mustafa (Islamabad), Zunair Khan (Sindh), Ahsan Ramzan (Punjab)

‘D’: Rizwan (Balochistan), Sheikh Mudassir (Punjab), Kamran Albert Masih (KP), Shahrayar Khan (Sindh)
