HARIPUR: Three labourers were injured when they were hit by flying stones while quarrying at a crushing plant in Bandi Sher Khan village, police and locals said here on Monday.

Police quoted witnesses as saying that some workers were busy quarrying at a crushing plant when flying stones hit them, causing them injuries. The injured workers were shifted to the Haripur Trauma Centre. They were identified as brothers Zahid Khan and Habib Khan and Nadir Khan.

It may be added that a labourer was killed and three were injured in a similar incident in Suraj Gali area of Khanpur tehsil last month.
