LAHORE: Punjab Assembly opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz has said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government has destroyed the country’s economy during its three-year rule and is completely exposed on all fronts.

“In the last three years, the country saw the worst inflation and price hike under the rule of PTI government that made the life of the masses miserable,” Hamza said in a statement here on Wednesday.

Lambast the rulers for boasting about their performance, he said: “Instead of boasting about the government’s performance, the rulers should hide themselves from the people for pushing the basic commodities out of their reach,” he said and added that the household items were being sold higher prices even at the utility stores, showing the government had no check on their rates.
