Moon and star wind chime

This is with reference to the section Wonder crafts, “Moon and star wind chime” by Asif Ali (YW, July 24). It was a fabulous craft created from a useless CD. I appreciate the writer for providing us with unique DIY crafts to decorate our house with useless or easily available stuff. Usually, we discard old things and buy new ones, which is just a waste of money. However, with little creativity and some time we can create amazing items.

Learn to love yourself

This is regarding the article “Learn to love yourself” by Laiba Khan, (YW, July 24). I liked the topic of the article, as we hardly pay attention to our wellbeing which is way more important than our appearance. If we are positive from inside and have confidence on ourself, nothing can beat us.

I agree with the writer’s point of view that if we don’t love ourself, nobody will. So, the first thing to do to improve our personality is to love and appreciate ourself.

Joys of gardening

This regarding the cover story “The joys of gardening” by Benazir Raz (YW July 31). It was a very interesting and informative article about gardening. During the current pandemic, schools are closed and we have few things to do. Thus, this article helped in providing us with meaningful information about plants and we can grow them in small spaces in our house.

In my opinion, we can play our part in reducing the hazardous effects of smoke by having more plants in our balconies, by planting trees outside our building or house, because trees are a vital source of oxygen and they make the environment healthier.

Our duty towards nature

This is with reference to the article “Our duty towards nature” by Sarwasha Mairaj, (YW, August 7). I loved reading the article as it was full of information about nature. I think Young World needs to remind the youngsters every now and then about the importance of nature in our life and how we can preserve it without destroying its beauty.

Earth is full of natural resources but, sadly, we have been wasting water, cutting trees and destroying the natural habitat.

However, it should be our first duty to conserve natural resources and work for the betterment of our atmosphere. We should stop all those who are wasting and destroying it.
