KARACHI: Former petroleum minister and PPP leader Dr Asim Hussain’s wife, Dr Zareen Hussain, passed away here on Saturday after a protracted battle with cancer, says a statement.

She was 66.

Dr Zareen Hussain got married to Dr Asim Hussain on March 15, 1979.

Her funeral procession will be taken out at 4pm on Sunday from her house, F-120, North Nazimabad.

Her funeral prayer will be held after Asr prayer at the mosque located in Ziauddin University, Superhighway link road campus.

She will be buried in the same mosque where Dr Asim Hussain’s mother is buried.
