SWABI: A man killed his brother and sister-in-law over a dispute on ownership of a house in Yar Hussain village here on Thursday, said police.

When contacted, officials of Yar Hussain police station said the dispute over a house caused the incident in Sard Cheena village.

They said the local jirga members had failed to settle the dispute because both parties stuck to their stands.

According to FIR, Younas Khan entered the house of his brother Irfan Ali and opened fire on him and wife of Zahid Khan, his another brother.

The police said Mr Irfan died on the spot and his sister-in-law later succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.

The police have started investigation.
