QUETTA / GWADAR: Four security personnel including three Levies Force officials were martyred and six others injured in terrorist attacks in Ziarat and Panjgur districts on Thursday.

The banned Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for a landmine blast in Mangi dam area near Ziarat.

A contingent of Levies Force launched a search operation to rescue the labourers. However, a Levies men’s while chasing the kidnappers vehicle hit a landmine and was blown up. “Three Levies personnel were martyred in the blast,” a security official told Dawn, adding that three other personnel in another vehicle received injuries.

Officials said that the kidnappers released two labourers when the Levies had started chasing them.

Official sources said unknown men attacked an FC vehicle which was passing through the Guargu area. “One security man identified as Muhammad Aslam was martyred and three others were injured,” a security official confirmed, adding that the injured were shifted to the district hospital Panjgur.
