KOHAT: A police constable was killed when men from a moving car opened fire on him in Ghulam Banda area here on Saturday.

The victim, who was wearing plain clothes, was identified as Khalid Khan.

The police have registered a case into the killing, which they said was the result of an old enmity between the families of the constable and the attackers.

The bullet-riddled body was shifted to the KDA Teaching Hospital for autopsy. Later, it was handed over to relatives for burial.
