The Sindh government has issued a notification clarifying that a complete ban remains in place on indoor dining in Karachi and Hyderabad.

A day earlier, it was reported that the provincial government had announced the resumption of indoor dining for vaccinated individuals in Karachi and Hyderabad till midnight, subject to 50 per cent occupancy, after the home department issued a notification regarding Covid-19 restrictions.

The notification issued today refers to the previous order, stating that vaccinated individuals have not been exempted from the ban on indoor dining in Karachi and Hyderabad.

It adds that outdoor dining will be allowed in the two cities till 10pm under strict Covid-19 protocols.

Indoor and outdoor dining has been allowed for vaccinated individuals till midnight, subject to 50pc occupancy, elsewhere in the province, according to the notification.
