ISLAMABAD: Culprits looted cash and valuables worth millions of rupees in 11 separate strikes in the capital, police said.

Robbers took away cash and valuables worth Rs800,000 from the house of Imtiaz Hussain at Ghouri Town Phase 2. Police said a maid assisted the three robbers to enter and rob the house.Six people came to a plot owned by Mohammad Didar in C-15 and held

up the watchman at gunpoint.

They took away iron bars worth Rs900,000.

Furthermore, robbers looted cash and mobile phones worth Rs700,000 from Faisal Hameed on I.J. Principal Road.

Similarly, Rs75,000 and a mobile phone were snatched from Muzamil Ikram at G-16, the police said.

Moreover, cash and valuables worth Rs1.7 million were also stolen from the house of Ghulam Farooq at G-13/4 when the residents were away.

Thieves also took away cash and valuables worth Rs2 million from the house of Azhar Ali at F-10/2.

In another incident, house servants stole Rs249,000 from a house at D-12/4, said the police.

Meanwhile, four vehicles were also stolen from different parts of the capital.
