SWABI: Two private schools were sealed in Razaar tehsil here on Thursday for violating the government’s orders to keep the educational institutions closed for a week following surge in Covid-19 cases.

A team led by Razaar tehsil assistant commissioner raided the schools and sealed them till further orders for violating the closure orders. When contacted, an official of the tehsil administration confirmed that they had sealed both the schools.

BODY FOUND: A man was found dead in a sugarcane field in Tarakai village of Razaar tehsil here on Thursday.

When contacted, SHO Fayaz Khan said that local people informed them that body of a man was lying in the field. The deceased was shot in the head, he said. The man, identified as Tauqir Khan, was brought from Sheikhpura, Punjab, and killed here.

Officials said Tauqir had allegedly married a girl without consent of her parents, which led to the rivalry and his killing.
