ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday said the Iris portal for e-filing of income tax returns has been made accessible to overseas Pakistanis via its website.

An official announcement said a link was provided on the FBR website to facilitate overseas Pakistanis’ access to Iris for filing of their annual returns.

The FBR has already clarified that no extension will be made in the last date for filing of income tax returns beyond September 30. This year, the Iris portal was made operational on July 1 in order to facilitate compliant taxpayers.
