ISLAMABAD: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), visited the Air Headquarters Islamabad on Wednesday.

The army chief was given a detailed briefing on operational matters of the Pakistan Air Force.

During the meeting, matters of mutual professional interest were discussed, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The air chief highlighted various ongoing projects being carried out by the PAF.

The COAS hailed the PAF’s sacrifices for the country and its all out support to the law enforcement agencies. He also appreciated the PAF’s role in provision of humanitarian assistance and facilitating recent evacuation operations from Afghanistan. Gen Bajwa praised the operational preparedness of the air force, while appreciating the motivation level of all ranks.
