LAHORE: The body of a 14-year-old boy bearing torture marks was found at an under-construction house in the Barki police area here on Tuesday.

Identified as Talha, the deceased had come from Faisalabad some days back to see his maternal uncle in the Paragon Housing Society.

A police official said the boy left his uncle’s house on Tuesday to play in the street and did not return for some hours.

His uncle launched a search and later found the tortured body at the under-construction house by his residence.

The police declared it a murder case, saying the body had profound torture marks in the head and other parts of his body, showing he was killed mercilessly.

The police lodged a murder case against unidentified killers on the complaint of his uncle and sent body to the city morgue for autopsy.
