The joy of rain quickly turned into misery for many Karachiites as heavy monsoon showers lashed parts of the city on Thursday.
In a matter of only a few hours, major thoroughfares were flooded and cars submerged as residents waded through the stagnant water with their motorcycles and belongings.
The first day of the latest spell expected to last three days revived memories of last August's record-shattering rainfalls, which virtually drowned the metropolis for days and left dozens of people dead in their wake.

Who will dare to question NDMA and their allies PPP's Sindh government. Hence, my dear fellow commoners be ready for more grinding and look to the skies for help.

Center: Sindh Govt did not do any work.
Sindh: Center did not release funds.
Solution: give contract to China to fix all problems of Karachi and take revenue for few years in return.

Until a corrupt government is sitting in Sindh no misery will end. Do Karachites have the guts to revolt and remove them?

Karachi and other urban areas of the province of Sindh should be separated from the rural areas of the province into a separate province. That is the only way to provide relief and civic facilities to their residents who are shamelessly being fleeced by the thugs who tax only these urban cities without spending anything in return even on the development of the civic infrastructure or providing any humane facilities for their citizens.
