QUETTA: Five female police personnel have been sacked after being found guilty of meting out inhumane treatment to a female accused during custody.

The senior superintendent of police (operations), Que­tta, issued the order for sacking of the five female cops.

A notification issued on Thursday said that the five personnel were accu­sed of treating a female accused in custody inhumanely.

The SSP took notice of the incident and ordered a disciplinary action against the female cops and during an inquiry they were found gui­lty. According to the notification, the sacked female cops are: Bushra Afzal, Huma Faisal, Uzma Nasreen, Farah Khalil and Samina Manzoor.
