TAXILA: Two persons were killed while another was injured in two incidents in Attock on Saturday.

In the first incident, Sajjad Ameen died and his driver was injured when his car met an incident due to speeding near Kharappa in limits of Pindigheb police station.

In the second incident, a man identified as Ahmed was shot dead in Shankha in the limits of Hazro Police station.

Separately, Syed Wali Shah reported to Police that his 17-year-old brother Syed Zahoor Shah had been abducted. Respective police have registered cases and started further investigation.

13 suspects held: Attock police have arrested 13 suspects including two proclaimed offenders during a crackdown launched against the anti social elements.

Police raided a gambling den in the limits of Rangoo Police station and arrested ten gamblers red handed. Bet money worth Rs2.87 million, gambling tools were also confiscated during the raid.

Attock Khurd Police foiled an attempt to smuggle kites from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab and recovered 150 kites and 14 string rolls and arrested Dilnawaz.

Separately, Bassal police have arrested two proclaimed offenders from Malakand wanted in a case registered in July 2019.

Respective police have registered cases and started further investigation.
