LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said on Saturday that people of Larkana were a symbol of resistance and everything about them was close to his heart.

Bilawal said while speaking to the party’s elected representatives, office-bearers and ministers at Naudero House that he valued sacrifices of the people of Larkana for democracy and he would not tolerate negligence in ongoing work on development projects of the city.

The leaders briefed Bilawal about the party affairs and issued related to local bodies, pace of ongoing development works and host of other issues about the Larkana Municipal Corporation and departments of education, works and services.

Minister for Education Syed Sardar Shah, Minister for Local Bodies Syed Nasir Shah and Zia Abbas Shah briefed the party chairman about the development works and others issues in respective departments.

PPP Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, MNA Khursheed Juenjo, Jamil Soomro, former minister Suhail Anwar Siyal, general secretary PPP Larkana district Aijaz Leghari, Imran Jatoi, Waqar Bhutto and others met the party chairman.
