LARKANA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana on Wednesday announced result of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-II annual examination of science and general groups.

According to the BISE, total 47,994 candidates took examination in science group. Of them only 43,555 candidates were declared successful and placed in different grades.

A total of 7,079 candidates got A-1 grade, 14,323 A grade, 13,424 B grade, 6,892 C grade, 1,813 D grade while only 23 candidates obtained E grade, the announcement said.

The result of 23 candidates was withheld on charges of using unfair means in examination while the result of 150 was not announced for want of fees.

In general group, no one could clinch A-1 grade. 1,654 candidates appeared in the examination and only 45 secured A grade, 339 B-grade, 472 C-grade, 248 D grade and only three candidates got

E grade.

The number of passing candidate was 1,108 and of them 201 were declared failed, the announcement said.

The result of 341 was withheld for want of fees. This time the positions in both groups were not announced because the students of class IX were promoted last year due to Covid-19 pandemic, sources in BISE said.
