RAWALPINDI: Commissioner Gulzar Hussain Shah on Thursday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would inaugurate the Leh Nullah Expressway Project and Ring Road Project on Dec 25.

A meeting was held in this regard with Rawalpindi commissioner in the chair who assumed the additional charge of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director General after the transfer of former director general Nadeem Abro.

He also holds the charge of Administrator Rawalpindi in absence of Mayor Rawalpindi as Punjab government has not restored the local government yet.

Referring to the Leh Nullah Expressway project, the Commissioner Rawalpindi directed various stakeholders to resolve their issues, remove bottlenecks and obstacles being faced during designing and implementation of the project.

He said that the development work should be implemented on fast track basis.
