LAHORE, Nov 11: Fine bowling display by medium-pacer Junaid Nadir and Mehmood Azam helped Islamabad earn 55-run lead against Lahore Ravi in the Inter-region Under-19 cricket championship on Friday.
Junaid and Mehmood took three wickets each as Lahore Ravi were all out for 289 in 75.1 overs while replying to Islamabad’s 344.
At stumps, Islamabad were 20 without loss in the second innings. A fine century by Usman Mushtaq (121) and equally fine knock by Arslan Anwar (78) and four wickets for 38 by Prince Abbas enabled Sialkot beat Peshawer by an innings and 58 runs at the Saga Cricket Ground, Sialkot.
Usman hit 18 fours and two sixes off 143 balls while Arslan smashed 11 fours and two sixes while facing only 44 balls, as Sialkot piled up 347 in the first innings to gain 203 runs lead on first innings.
Peshawer were shot out for 145 in their second innings with Prince Abbas, who took five wickets in the first innings, again damaged Peshawar by taking four more wickets for 38.

APP adds: After conceding a 16-run first innings lead to Quetta, Karachi Harbor (KH) bounced back into the match by reducing visiting team to 44 for four wickets in their second outing with left arm spinner Mohsin Sultan completing haul of ten wickets.
After grabbing six for 93 in Quetta’s first innings Mohsin took four wickets for 11 runs in 9.4 overs to end the day with match figures of ten for 104 to make Quetta reeling at 44 for four wickets in their second innings, having overall lead of 60 runs with six wicket remaining.
KH thanks to fine half centuries from Tariq Murad and Waqas Haroon scored 232 all out.
Tariq hit five fours and a six in his 62 while Waqas’ knock of 51 was studded with seven boundaries and two sixes.

MULTAN ROUT KU
Multan gave another cricketing lesson to Karachi Urban (KU) with walloping an innings 32 runs victory inside two days on Friday.
After being dismissed for 166 in their first innings thanks to a haul of eight for 49 by Majid Javed, KU gave another pathetic batting display and were bundled out for 87 the second time.
