KARACHI: Hat-tricks from Haris Naseer and Noman Khan enabled Youth Club Blues outclass Nazimabad Mujahid Club 12-0 in theirt fixture of the Inter-club Hockey Champ­ionship at the KHA Sports Complex here on Monday.

Haris was the outstanding performer with five goals in the 2nd, 11th, 15th, 21st and 38th minutes. Noman scored thrice in the 4th, 18th and 34th minutes, while Sultan Mahmood slammed goals in the 27th and 37th minutes with Hammad Ayaz and Waseem Aslam also sounding the board in the 30th and 31st minutes, respectively.

Nazimabad Mujahid, which is one of the oldest clubs, failed to bounce back against their strong opponents after holding Cantt Combined Club to a 2-2 draw in their opening fixture.

A hat-trick by Adeel Ali enabled Rabbani Club outgun Ismail Club 6-0 in yet another one-sided match.

Adeel scored in the 2nd, fourth and 16th minutes while Noshal Ali, Sajid Hussain and Mustafa Zaidi added one each in the 7th, 24th and 34th minutes, respectively.

Baldia Club and Gulberg Club shared points after playing a goalless draw.

Wednesday’s fixtures: Dolphin Club vs Karachi Tigers Club (3:00pm); Pride of Karachi Club vs YMCA Club (4:00pm); Al Sagheer Club Colours vs Police Boys Club (5:00pm).
