Woman ‘raped’ in metro bus underpass in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A woman was allegedly tortured and raped by a university student in the underpass of the Metro Bus Station in Rehmanabad on Tuesday.
The suspect, who is studying Information Technology (IT) in a university, was detained by police immediately after a first information report (FIR) was registered, a police investigating officer (IO) said.
The IO said the police visited the crime scene.
The victim, a resident of Lahore, complained to New Town police that she informed her brother about a job in a boys’ hostel which was advertised on the Facebook account of the suspect.
She said her brother contacted him, following which she travelled to Rawalpindi with her aunt.
The victim said that upon reaching the hostel, the suspect forcibly took her to a room at a boy’s dormitory, where he began slapping her and closed the door from inside. Later, she said she was taken to the underpass and raped.
Police said the victim was taken to a hospital for medical examination, however a DNA test of both the victim and the suspect would be conducted.

Every other girl who's raped claim to visit the man for job. Few days ago a woman claimed to be gang raped on the motorway, after she got a job offer. Police later found out through forensics of her mobile phone that she was talking to one of the boys over Facebook and then WhatsApp.
Although the rape is a heinous crime, and punishable by death in Shariah Law, and we denounce the act, but girls making fake excuses for it and portraying the victim completely innocent is not good either.

Just wait a few minutes, you'd see statements that CM Buzdar and PM IK has taken notice of the incident and taking personal interest in the case and having hourly updates on it.
Few days ago a woman was raped in Philedelphia US, we didn't hear any such statement from the President Biden. They have lot of other imp things to do.
Human Rights Champions would now jump in and also the Aurat March Madams. Though, they were silent when the police found out that the Minar e Pakistan lady did it for $

@Zulfiqar, Just 2 days ago a man raped a woman in a US metro..yes IN the metro not in an underpass but in front of citizens who filmed the incident and moved on.I would recommend you search "Campus sexual assault" and read the wiki page which details hair raising statistics about rape related crimes in western universities which should lay to rest this myth that certain cultures are more prone to sexual violence which is a legacy of the colonial mindset and is in fact racist.

2. If he took her to underpass to rape her, why he beat her first in dorm?
