BAHAWALNAGAR: Police have detained 75 local leaders and workers of the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) across the district under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) for 30 days.

Officials said most of the TLP activists were taken into custody on Friday night for staging a protest, posting hate material against the government on social media, harassing public and creating law and order situations.

The TLP men had been apprehended from Bahawalnagar, Chishtian, Minchinabad and Fort Abbas tehsils.
