QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha has said that no nation has a future without peace and justice.

Speaking at a seminar at the Governor House on Saturday, he said that inter-religious harmony, solidarity and respect for human rights were essential for establishing peace in the country. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan was committed to the principles of accountability, justice and equality at all levels.

Mr Agha said he had always preached mercy, compassion and justice. “The Qur’an is a complete code of conduct for all of us in which human beings are better guided in every aspect and Islamic teachings fully encompass the rule of law by which an ideal and just society can be formed,” he added.

He said: “Justice is an important part of our lives and we have to realise that all the creatures living around us have their duty and rights. We have to adopt collective thinking.”
