Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Tuesday he has tested negative for Covid-19 — a couple of days after he had contracted coronavirus.
It was the second time he was tested positive for Covid-19 after first getting infected by the virus in June 2020.
Talking to Dawn.com, the ex-premier — who is also a senior PML-N leader — said he had a fever on Saturday and conducted a home test for Covid-19 which came positive.
“I did a PCR test late night on Saturday and tested positive again. But I had no symptoms and fever was also gone by then. Then I did another PCR test on Monday night and it came negative. So all is well now,” said Abbasi.
