QUETTA: A border trade agreement between Pakistan and Iran will be signed on Sunday in the Iranian capital where Adviser to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Trade Abdul Razak Dawood arrived a day ago to participate in the ninth session of the Joint Trade Committee.

Various issues related to the Pak-Iran border trade agreement were discussed and agreed upon during the ninth joint trade committee session in Tehran.

The ninth session of the committee would continue on Sunday when the agreement will be signed by the presidents of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Zahidan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A joint statement will be issued later during the day.

Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Fida Hussain Dashti and Senior Vice President Mohammad Ayub Mariani said during the trade committee session issues related to industry and barter trade were discussed in detail.
