Man arrested on charges of raping daughter in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Secretariat police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting his daughter.

A complaint was registered with the police that the suspect had raped his 13-year-old daughter in the Bari Imam area.

A police official, requesting not to be quoted, said medical examination was conducted on both the suspect and the victim.

In another case, the Tarnol police registered a case against 10 people for attacking and injuring a man.

Shahid Iqbal informed the police that some youngsters were sitting outside his house and were using foul language while talking to each other.

His brother went out and asked them to leave but they refused and after exchanging heated arguments attacked Mr Iqbal and injured him.
