LAHORE: Punjab reported 133 Covid-19 cases and three deaths during the last 24 hours. The deaths were reported from DG Khan, Muzaffargarh and Sargodha.
The total number of cases has risen to 441,051 and the death toll is 12,946. As many as 421,075 people have recovered from the disease and the number of total active cases in the province is 7,043.
During the last 24 hours, 73 people tested positive in Lahore, 14 in Multan, 11 in Rawalpindi, seven in Faisalabad, five in Sargodha and three in Bahawalnagar.
The Covid-19 cases positivity ratio in the province was recorded at 0.9pc, 1.5pc in Lahore, 0.4pc in Faisalabad, 0.6pc in Rawalpindi, 1.1pc in Multan, and 0.1pc in Gujranwala.
Primary and Secondary Health care Department Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch appealed to the citizens to take precautionary measures to stop the spread of the virus. He issued directions for setting up a special one-day vaccination camp at Saint Anthony’s Church under the RED (Reach Every Door) vaccination campaign.
EPI Director Dr Mukhtar visited the camp and reviewed the arrangements. The special camp facilitated the Christian community with vaccination.
On the other hand, the ‘Reach Every Door’ campaign is not leaving any stone unturned to vaccinate the masses at their doorsteps from Oct 25 to Nov 15 in the whole Punjab.
