QUETTA: The Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Balochistan, Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind, has withdrawn his support for Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, accusing him of supporting influential people “who are involved in the killing of three people in Kachhi district”.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Mr Rind said he would convene a parliamentary party meeting to take further action in this regard.

He claimed that former provincial minister Mir Asim Kurd and his people were involved in the killing of PTI supporters and his voters, adding that instead of arresting the killers, the chief minister had sent home secretary and Nasirabad commissioner to investigate how the FIR had been registered against the former minister and his brothers.

The PTI leader appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Justice of Supreme Court and Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court to take notice of these killings as the provincial government was supporting the alleged killers nominated in the FIR.

He also accused Governor Syed Zahoor Agha and Deputy Speaker of National Assembly Qasim Suri of supporting the accused. He said the situation had been aggravated under a plot in the area and the victims had informed the district administration and the provincial government through a press conference in Quetta, but no one listened to them and after three days they had been martyred and others seriously injured.
