Finding solace in nature

This refers to the article “Finding solace in nature” by Abuzer Hassan (YW, October 23). It truly was a fascinating piece of information. The writer discussed how technology has taken the attention of people away from nature. This has had some bad effects on our personality, as well as overall quality of life.

Observing nature, the skies, the plants and the animals, heals our soul and refreshes us. So, instead of wasting or spending our time on various fruitless activities indoors, we should spend some time in parks and interact with nature.

I live in a village and I am a big lover of nature; I find solace by looking at the green fields in the morning and in the evening. I observe the stars and the moon in the open sky. I find it very soothing.

Though technology has a lot of benefits, the natural environment is a true friend of human beings.

Motivation is the fuel for success

This is with reference to the cover article “Motivation is the fuel for success” by Gulrukh Tausif (YW, November 27). The writer rightly narrated that motivation is the first step for doing something.

However, one of the most important things is to have a clear vision of what you want to do. Once you have set your mind for something, then keep your spirits high and work in that direction. Don’t worry about failure, it is part of life.

Family soup night

This is regarding the story “Family soup night” by Ramsha Farooq Raja (YW, November 27). I really like the story because it highlighted the importance of relationships in one’s life and also to keeping the traditions alive. Family gatherings, meals and other activities make life wonderful. They have a lot of meaning and always refresh our relationships with our friends and family members. I would like to appreciate the writer, as well as the YW team, for publishing stories with important message in them.

Challenges lead to success

This is regarding the cover article “Challenges lead to success” by Fatima Ahmad (YW, November 13). I agree with the writer that a person’s intelligence is reflected in how they interact with everyday life’s challenges and one can learn from their mistakes.

If there is a challenging task in front of us, we should not back out, we should face it and keep moving. Whether we fail or win, it should not hinder our progress.
