Close your eyes and just for a few seconds go back in time, when you were younger than you are now. Didn’t you do things you liked without even knowing their merits and demerits? You never got confused about playing football or cricket. You just ran around the playground and played them.

As a child, you had the curiosity and excitement for anything that interested you. Nobody told you to do this or that; you just did it. And the most beautiful aspect you had was acceptance of what you liked the most. For example, if football was something you weren’t comfortable with, you just stopped playing it without any guilt involved. If you loved playing cricket, you just did that. There was no analysis of “is playing cricket really what I should be doing with my time? What future will I have with this?” There were no such questions to bother with. If you liked something, you just did that.

Unfortunately, as one grows older, there are questions, confusions and decisions that trouble, people don’t know what to do with their lives. They ask others to help them find their passion, as they are themselves unaware of their passion. And, of course, if you don’t know what to do with yourself, how could you help someone else?

Isn’t it surprising that you’re awake for hours a day, spending time on things unbeknown to you?

The fast-paced life we have has made most of us have a blurry vision of the main concept of life. The meaning of life is living it fully and not just spending time and days in taking selfies and envying the lives of others. What happens is we lose track of our life, passions and goals.

We can do a lot, yet we end up questioning ourselves what to do. My answer to this question is that our passion is right there in front of us. It is just that we’re consistently avoiding it for whatsoever reason it may be.

Apart from that, these days, we are all preoccupied with how to earn. If we have a hobby and we love doing it, sometimes others and at other times we ask ourselves, “How are you going to get anything from it? Have you thought of earning a living?”

Of course, money is important, but kids, we must always remember that our life, our peace of mind, is more important than always thinking about making money.

So, leave every confusion and worry. Let us look at ourself and ask what we like the most. Whatever we are passionate about, we need to spend some time doing that activity. Soon we will notice that we feel rejuvenated and the things we do will make us more productive than we were before.
