DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two people were killed when a Quetta-bound passenger bus and a pick-up truck collided in the Parwarra area here on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the limits of the Mughal Kot police station.

A team of Rescue 1122 shifted both the bodies to the Mufti Mahmood Hospital, Dera.

A rescue official said that the bus was coming from Peshawar, adding that two persons travelling in the pick-up truck died on the spot.

They were identified as Noushad Ahmed and Taj Mohammad, both residents of Kohat district.

Soon after the accident, police and Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies to hospital.
