LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid says a family head registered with the National Database and Registration Authority will get Sehat Insaf Card which will cover his entire family.

Speaking to media here on Sunday, the minister said a help desk had been established in the offices of assistant commissioners (ACs) in every tehsil. She said the people who had not received health cards yet were the ones yet to be registered.

She said all medical facilities covered under the card would be indoor, including treatment of major diseases and all details were available on the dedicated mobile application. The minister said 133 public and private hospitals in Lahore division were now on the health card panel.

She promised 25,000 jobs in health sector during the current year, with private sector hiring more doctors.
