ISLAMABAD: As many as 35 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 in the capital on Monday.
The positivity ratio was recorded at 0.9 per cent.
According to the Ministry of National Health Services, 100 people have so far been diagnosed with the Omicron variant in Islamabad.
Officials of the capital administration said 3,603 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours. Nine of the new cases were reported in the age group of 30-39 followed by eight in 20-29 age bracket, five each in the ages of 0-9 and 40-49, four patients were in their 60s, two in the age group of 10-19 and one patient each in the age bracket of 50-59 and over 80 years.
Likewise, five cases were reported from F-10, followed by three each in Lohi Bher, E-11, F-8 and G-10, two from Tarlai and one each from F-6, F-7, Rawat, E-7, I-8, I-9, Khanna, G-7, G-8 and I-10, the officials added. So far 108,755 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the capital out of whom 107,477 have recovered and 967 died.
There are currently 311 active Covid-19 cases in the capital, the officials said, adding that out of the total 44 are admitted to different hospitals while the rest have been quarantined in their houses.
