MARDAN: The funeral prayers of the four youngsters, who were asphyxiated inside their car in the hill resort of Murree when their vehicle was trapped in heavy snowfall on Friday night, were offered here on Sunday.

The deceased were laid to rest in their respective towns. All the four deceased persons were reportedly said to be cousins. The slain persons were identified as Sohail, 27, Mohammad Bilal Hussain, 24, Asad, 22, and Mohammad Bilal, 21.

The funeral prayer of Sohail was offered in Mian Esa locality, Mohammad Bilal’s in Charchor area, while Asad and Mohammad Bilal Hussain were buried in Tazagram village of Katlang tehsil.

The locals said one of the victims, Asad, was the only brother of seven sisters and had married just two years ago. He had a one-year-old son.

The funeral prayers were attended by provincial lawmakers Zahir Shah Toru, Malik Shuakat and a large number of people of the surrounding areas.
