SHUTTLE SERVICE: It is a matter of great pleasure that after a long waiting period, the Green Line service has started albeit provisionally up to the Numaish bus station. The passengers are, however, facing difficulties in reaching Saddar due to the non-availability of buses or rickshaw services at the said station. This critical problem can be resolved only by arranging a shuttle service between Numaish and Saddar.

PUBLIC NUISANCE: The office of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) in Serai Nuranag tehsil of Lakki Marwat district has been shifted to a location near the old hospital close to the main road. The new premises remains crowded and jam-packed all day long. The Nadra office has added to the woes of commuters as well as those visiting the office.
The relevant authorities should shift the Nadra office back to its old location.

REBATE FOR HAWKERS: This is apropos the letter ‘Sacred text’ (Jan 4), which argued that the sacred text printed in newspapers can be saved if the hawkers collect back the previous day’s edition in order to have them recycled. I totally support the idea, and suggest a reasonable rebate be given to both the readers and the hawkers to have the scheme implemented. The earlier it is done, the better.

INTOLERANT YOUTH: The young among us seem to have become intolerant to the extent that they cannot take any criticism lightly, even if it is constructive and meant to guide them. It is not about the ‘bad’ children and teenagers because it includes the ‘good’ ones in educated families as well. They surely now have a vast number of sources to gather information, but it is the experience and wisdom that makes one knowledgeable in the true sense of word. The young generation should not disrespect their elders.
