CHAGAI: Four people, including three members of a family, lost their lives when a speeding trawler hit a pick-up in Ismaili Landhi area of Chagai district on Friday.

A Levies Force official said the accident left Nasrullah, his wife, mother-in-law and daughter dead while his son and trawler cleaner suffered injuries.

Dalbandin Assistant Commissioner Irfan Khilji said the trawler driver had been arrested. The pick-up was going to Dalbandin from Yakmach when it met with the incident, the Levies official said, adding that a rescue operation had already been started by workers of the Tabuk governor’s main hunting camp before rescue teams of the local administration reached there.
