A Taste of Pakistan in Fusion
Shaziah Zuberi

A widely read food blogger, the author inherited her love for cooking from her mother. Her blogs, however, acquired a new dimension when, after her marriage, she moved out of Pakistan. Experiments with combining Pakistani dishes with foreign culinary delights led to delicious results that were, by and large, delicious and each recipe is accompanied by valuable tips as well as a note explaining how that particular recipe differs from its traditional counterparts.

Hazaaron Inkishafaat: Saazishein, Siyah Raatein, Qaatil-o-Maqtool Ki Daastaanein
Latafat Ali Siddiq

Written by a Canada-based Pakistani journalist, the book claims several secrets and conspiracies. The author’s investigations ‘reveal’ that Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and his sister Fatima did not die a natural death, nor did one-time prime minister Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy. Neither did army chief Gen Asif Nawaz Janjua, nor Gen Akhtar Abdul Rahman, who was persuaded to board Gen Ziaul Haq’s ill-fated C-130 plane.
