KOHAT: Disgruntled leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in Kohat district have decided to end rift after a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.

A statement issued from the PTI district secretariat here on Sunday, said chairman of parliamentary committee on Kashmir MNA Shehryar Afridi had taken Lachi tehsil chairman-elect Mohammad Ehsan and Shafiullah Jan, an independent candidate for Kohat city mayor’s slot, to Islamabad for a meeting with the prime minister.

They first met defence minister Pervez Khattak and information technology minister Shibli Faraz, and then the prime minister.

The prime minister urged them to shun all past differences and strengthen the party in the district. The disgruntled leaders agreed to forget the past and work for strengthening the party in Kohat. Gumbat tehsil chairman-elect Sajid Iqbal was also present on the occasion.
